Just heard the news about this bad boy being sold in USA. But the Canadian website has no info on it.

Anyone know if it is coming here soon?

I'm not sure - it could never come to Canada. Many models are shared between the US and Canada/Europe, however, some models are not. For example, the Toshiba M70 was never released in the US, so there is a possibility that the P100/105 may never be released in Canada.

Yeah, I'm totally dissapointed by this too. Possibility of Toshiba waiting for HD-capable drives for the Canadian market maybe?

Well, its not totally ruled out that it won't come to Canada, but there are a few model lines/special editions that tend to either stay in the States or Canada.

This is really starting to bum me out! EVER TIME I FIND A LAPTOP I LIKE THERE SEEMS TO BE A PROBLEM OF GETTING IT SET UP THE WAY I WANT OR It is not available in Canada.
Take The Sager NP5720 I can't find any Canadian dealers. I would buy this laptop if I could find it in Canada , I just don't like the idea of shipping it to the USA if there is a problem with warranty. This may be costly or not.; I just don’t know.
