    Hello,

Just bought this used. Works great.
Only problem, is when on AC power, every couple days it beep that battery is low.

I bring up Toshiba power management, and it says it is on AC power, but battery is discharging.

I mess with it, but don't really do anything and all of a sudden it says it is charging. It will charge up to 100% then in a couple of days it does it again.

    Any help or answers ???

I also have a Toshiba Satellite P15-S409 which has had the exact same problem you describe. It has had the exact same problem twice now. The problem stems from a broken pin which connects your AC power supply to the motherboard. The correct fix for this is to replace the motherboard. The first time the shop repaired mine they attempted to solder the connection. This worked for just over a year till it did the same thing again. If yours is as mine was, you can tilt and rotate the AC power cord where it enters the machine at different angles and positions, and you will notice the power light on the front of the laptop will make sporadic connection. Luckily mine was under warranty both times. Quite expensive otherwise. Good luck.
