Hi, I Bought P20 or P25 (America) with P4 3.4Ghz with Hyper Threading technology, 1GB RAM, 80GB HD

I Habe this noise from the fan vents, the sound is not constant and not too audible. but I can diffrentiate between total quiet and sound.

The not too-audible sound exist even my computer on idle, or running minor application such notepad.

The noise apparently from the fans, it sometimes run and stop, if it stop my notebook is very very quiet.

can somebody reply to this topic please

The fans are supposed to come on even if you're not doing anything CPU intensive. Because you have a P4 CPU, these CPU's run hot, and the only way to cool them is with the fans. The fans will come on and go off depending on the temp of the CPU. I have also heard that on some units, 1 fan will always run in slow mode even in power saving mode. If it's hardly noticeable, then you're one of the lucky ones. Some people say their fan is too loud and very annoying. I don't think you have anything to worry about.
