    Hi!

My neighbours Toshiba Satellite P200-14H came with preinstalled Vista Home premium.

As he already has a valid Windows XP Professional licence, he asked me to install it for him.

First I downloaded the Intel SATA drivers for the floppy, but as it turns out, my USB floppy isnt' compatible.

So, the only solution was to slipstream the drivers onto the winxp cd. I did it following the next guide:

    slipstreaming SATA drivers

Windows installed just fine. I entered the serial, set up local and language settings and waited till reboot.

When Windows should start up for the first time, I see the Windows XP logo for a brief moment and then the blue screen for a second (I couldn't make out what it says) and the it reboots.

Any ideas, because I am really confused. I can't pinpoint the problem.

    Please help!

This is the blue screen message I receive:

On another forum I found the solution: Disable S-ATA native mode in the bios, but unfortunately Toshiba bios doesn't have it in bios. :(
