    Hi,

A couple of days ago I attempted a BIOS update to my laptop which froze about halfway through and so will no longer boot up, doesn't even get to POST. Since then I've been trying to do a recovery through crisis mode following various guides I've found through Google. They recommend using tools such as WINCRIS and CRISDISK to create a USB key with a BIOS image included. I can get it into what I assume to be crisis mode by using Fn+B when powering on and it starts to read the USB key for about 3 seconds but then just sits there. I've waited at this state for up to 30 mins to no effect.

Has anyone had any success with restoring this laptop model? At my wits end now :(

    Thanks

If you don't get any help here [Toshiba subforum], I can move it to the Hardware subforum of notebookreview; you may get more help there.

Just post here if you want it moved.
