This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Satellite P200-1EE cpu upgrade T6570 (penryn) success !

    I am happy to announce that i was able to upgrade my aging Satellite P200-1EE - chipset GM965 by OEM cpu Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor T6570
    (2M Cache, 2.10 GHz, 800 MHz FSB) which has been pulled out from hp laptop with dead mobo .

    I've updated the bios on to the last version (2.7) which could be downloaded from here


    The system is performing much faster and the cpu temperature holds on 35 degrees.
