Can please Satellite P55-A5312 owners provide some feedback?

The reviews I read are conflicting each other. Not to mention that some reviews are even written without having the actual product on hand but based on the feature list.

I was leaning more over to Asus Q501LA-BBI5T03 but this Toshiba have very very similar features and at least $70-$80 cheaper (both as refurbished).
Asus 15.6" TouchScreen Laptop 6GB Memory 750GB Hard Drive Q501LA-BBI5T03 - Best Buy

    The main differences are....
    Toshiba:
No touch screen. Which I do not need.
Screen is not IPS. I am not sure how much a difference it would make. One review says it is a problem with viewing angles and one user says not much of a difference.
Has CD/DVD writer. Nice to have one.
Heavier: While heavier, still portable enough.
    Cheaper.

    Asus:
    Screen is IPS.
    No CD/DVD Writer.
Touch screen. Which I dont care.

I would love to hear some feedback and information from Satellite P55-A5312 owners.
