i am upgrading from an old compaq laptop and saw this one at best buy it is a Toshiba Satellite P745-S4320 it seems to be a decent laptop. all i really do is basic web browsing, email, movies, music and other stuff. i am getting a gopro hd hero2 so i will be doing some very basic editing and loading to youtube. do you guys have any thoughts good or bad on this laptop? is there maybe a newer or better option i might look at? they are asking 699.00
is this price fair? please any and all opinions and suggestions are welcome thanks

It's not bad, I would say fair; I'm guessing Best Buy model?
    Toshiba - Intel® Core™ i5 Processor / 14" Display / 6GB Memory / 640GB Hard Drive - Platinum - P745-S4320

That model has some " luxury" features that probably make it more expensive: Bluray, WiMAX, WiDi [WiDi would be good for videos and watching Blurays; my mother has WiDi and she loves it]. http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/architecture-and-technology/intel-wireless-display.html
If these are not features you would use, you can find a comparable for probably a cheaper price. Without the above 3 features, I would guess between $500-$600.

    Good luck

Thanks for the insight alexmuw, It seems to be a decent laptop could not find many bad reviews on it and it seems no one on here has mentioned anything negative so I'm guessing that's a plus or they just don't feel like posting. Thanks again. Going to pick it up tonight after work.
