This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Satellite Pro A300 (Canada) - anyone have one these?

    I'm trying to help another NBR member find some solid business notebooks within a certain budget. I'm having some difficulty finding information on some models that could be a good fit. Different offerings in Canada vs. the choices here in the U.S. isn't making it any easier!

    Toshiba Canada offers a Satellite Pro A300 model that we don't have here. The only 15.4" Satellite Pro for the U.S. is the S300, which isn't offered in Canada.

    So I'm trying to figure out if the Pro A300 is structurally different than the consumer-oriented Satellite A300? I know the Pro S300 and S300M have Toshiba EasyGuard technology.....what about the Pro A300?

    Any input or information is greatly appreciated!
