Help please the touchpad warms up and around of my laptop Satellite Pro U400-SP2804, also it generates a lot of heat in the part of the ventilator of the side

The touchpad is not an excessive heat as that of the ventilator of the side, for what I do not know if these it(he,she) is normal, I bought the laptop 15 days ago.

I will be grateful very much for his your answers.

Around the ventilator you've got your CPU and GPU, and this will be producing a bit of heat. Have you run a program like speedfan to check your temp?

I'm not sure about the internals of your laptop, but looking at the online users guide it looks like the battery lies at the top (near the hinge), the HDD is on the left side, and the RAM is in the center. You may have a wireless card under your trackpad that is getting warm... but other than those components (the HDD, RAM, CPU/GPU, wireless, and battery) I can't think of anything that would be producing a significant amount of heat. Is there anything in the RAM compartment besides RAM (that panel is huge if it is only being used to cover RAM).

Thank you for your response, really the memory it in the central part of the laptop under touchpad Yes I have installed the program Everest Corporate Edition which marks 47⁰ C average for CPU and 34⁰ C for HardDisk, only once It mark at the maximum 62⁰ C for CPU, for the characteristics and size of this equipment does it seem that it is normal or not?
The heat of the touchpad is not an excessive heat, thank you again and you forgive for my Englishman.

My U400 generates heat which I can feel when I rest my wrist along the left hand side of the machine, I have not however noticed any heat from the pad. :) :)

Is that idling or with you using some programs? 47c seems a bit high for a computer to idle at... I would have expected your computer to idle at a lower temp than mine (~38c before mods) since it is a bit larger (and thus can handle a larger heatsink, fan). I can't think of what would be warming your trackpad area, but since the computer is so new you might want to call Toshiba.

A thought... What is the ambient temp/humidity where you are using the laptop? You are in a tropical environment and both of these factors would effect the cooling performance of the laptop.

I have A300 and while doing non cpu intensive stuff, the touchpad is the warmest compared to the keyboard and palm rests but not the heat vent.
I think its pretty much normal

I am to 2700 mt of height and the climate is cold, in addition it were where the vendeor and he said that the touchpad was not warming too much. My doubt is because my ateriores laptops like Dell and Toshiba Tecra A7 were not warming almost anything, not if is for the size and characteristics of the U400?
