In the past we have always hired projectors and a lap top to use for outside meetings and presentations. However recently we decided to buy a projector to use with the Toshiba Satellite Pro L100 laptop. After looking around I decided upon an Infocus IN2104EP. Mush to my frustration it doesn't want to work with the laptop, but does with the office computers.

So, the projector works. I've followed all the set up guides correctly, tried using Fn key and F5. I've spoken to the company who have sold me the projector and been told that apprently this is a well known problem that Satellite Pro laptops are incompatible with Infocus and Optima projectors. However speaking to Toshiba and they seem puzzled by that comment and say that this is the first they have heard of that. They suggest downloading a new display driver. Because it is a work lap top I have to check before I can do that (the boss is away this week).

Can anyone firstly tell me if this is a well known problem, secondly if it is a well known problem what projectors are compatabile, or thirdly, how to solve this!

Any help is appreciated (and no I'm not that brilliant with computers!).

It would have been great if someone had had a similar problem as this has really stumped not only the staff in my office, but also Infocus and Toshiba.
