    Hello All,

Recently scored an S50 with the ****ty battery problem that wouldn't allow it to turn on. working on converting it to a portable desktop but i am thinking of trying to find a way to maximize cooling to keep the cpu from throttling. Any tips? I'm probably going to slot the bottom a bit and ramp up the intake to the fan but i'm also debating adding more copper to the heatsink interms of fins and what not.thinking the gpu heatsink going straight to the gpu is very horrible design and will accelerate the failure rate on the gpu. thinking second pipe would help not fudge up my gpu. advice appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

I have no advice but love to hear about that project. If you wouldn't mind could you post some pictures when you get it setup?
