Well I'm now the proud Aussie owner of a X200. CSS has been loaded and runs well - typically around 100fps or so with high settings. However, I've found that models and crates (at a medium distance) tend to "grey out" into non-distinct blobs - makes it very hard to tell friend from foe! I'm still using the factory applied nvidia driver for the 8700M card - 7.15.11.138 and have applied a bunch of hotfixes supplied on the Steam support site. It seems my factory driver is more recent than the driver available on the the toshiba site. I've found that running at directX 8 fixes the problems (but of course not as pretty and introduces its own issues). There seems to be plenty of X200/205 users out there merrily playing CSS - what nvidia 8700m driver are you using? Any other suggestions?

    Thanks.

Try some newer drivers from laptopvideo2go.com...

My Dell supplied drivers for my 8600M GT is 7.15.11.143... So maybe the issue was fixed in a later driver? As I don't have the issue...

Thanks frazell - I took the plunge and updated to 163.44. All looks great. Wow - CSS at high res looks fantastic!
