hey, just wondering if this is something i shouldl be concerned about -- sometimes i leave my new satellite idle and put it to sleep by closing it, but i noticed (this has happened a couple times now) that sometimes when i open it back up - it musta shut itself off. so i attempt to turn it on by pushing the power button and it powers on but it doesn't boot up anything. so i end up having to hold down the power button until the shuts off manually and then restart it again in which it always works.

i just want to know if this is something that can be fixed or if its something to be concerned about - i know its not JUST THIS laptop because this is the 2nd one of the exact same laptop. i bought the 205 and brought it back to the store because of this same problem, they gave me a direct replacement brand new - and it does it also. so is this something that is to be concerned of?

also - when booting up i noticed it saying something about a media control/ethernet controller (or something) failing to recognizze and that i need to check the cables or something -- im assuming this is normal since im not using an ethernet cable or anything?

    Thanks.

    Go for another exchange?
Might be software, might be hardware problems.

I know this is going to blow peoples mind when I say this but I have 4 computers. (WTF OJ!!!! You have 4 computers) But I don't put none of them to sleep. It comes from a bad experience I had with my Gateway. So I never put my 3 Dells and 1 Toshiba to sleep. If I don't need them, then I shutdown. But I have a X205 too, and I haven't seen that problem yet. I don't like sleep don't use it. If I don't her, I shut her down. But keep trouble shooting. Your puter is suppose to work the way you bought her to.
