im really having a bad day, first windows 7 won't work on this computer because no matter what i do the screen flickers so i decided to give up and just do a system recovery with the provided discs..

so i open the plastic off the system recovery discs for the first time (never used it before) and it gets to the 2nd disc when it starts telling me some files can't be read? they begin with "pre" i believe but it says it cannot read them and to try again or skip.. well i tried again and again so i skipped. well, the disc errors out on me and now i have NOTHING :((

    anyone help??

    thank u :(

    Try this:

First insert the windows seven disk and when the option comes up to choose drive to install in, delete the partition and then create the new partition. dont format it after creating the partition. Now insert the toshiba disc and try the recovery.

Also which drivers were you using for ur nvidia graphic card?
