Hi, does anyone know what my problem is. The screen on my Toshiba satellite A215 goes funky purple, pink and green when tilted back beond 110°, the image gets distorted in that way altough you can still se what is going on on the screen. It workes perfectly before it´s tilted back that much.

    Thank you in advance

    Einar

Hi, Its probably a loose connection somewhere. If not, how old is the laptop? and if under 1 yr old you could contact Toshiba and see if they will repair it for you.

P.S is the screen tight when you push it back or is it loose

The loose connection is also my guess too but I want to get second opinions before I take it apart. The screen is firm when pushed back.
    it´s just over a year old :(

    Thank you

It's probably a loose LCD cable if you turn the display and it magically comes back to life. It is a pretty simple fix.
