    anyone knows more about this new model, or other new models that are going to replace other M40 series?

    My sources indicate that an X700 will be available in a higher end M70 configuration in the future (no direct confirmation though). Here are more pictures of the M70.

    x700? in US or Canada?
    wat the configuration gonna be? similar to M40-SF3 but with faster harddrive only?!

    oh, btw... M70 is almost 1cm thicker than the current M40!!!!! that's not good~~~~ :mad:

    but if u look at carefully at their physical dimensions, u will see M70 is a lot thicker. and the weight is not the same!!!! batterylife for M70 is upto 3hr, while M40 is only upto 2.7hr.... which i highly doubt about it.

    Do laptops have a battery life standard like digital cameras do? I'm referring to the CIPA standard which gives a standard bar for judging the battery life of cameras.

    i think that's because u r in US. here in Canada we didnt have those for M40s......


    M70 is almost 1cm thicker, 1 pound heavier!
