TOSHIBA Satellite M70 series is shown on the FutureShop website now. They didn't change it much, only got a faster harddrive.

anyone knows more about this new model, or other new models that are going to replace other M40 series?
-
That's one nice looking laptop, let me tell you that.
-
My sources indicate that an X700 will be available in a higher end M70 configuration in the future (no direct confirmation though). Here are more pictures of the M70.
-
x700? in US or Canada?
wat the configuration gonna be? similar to M40-SF3 but with faster harddrive only?! -
oh, btw... M70 is almost 1cm thicker than the current M40!!!!! that's not good~~~~
-
And probably heavier too

You see? Both at 6lbs. The M70 might have a shorter battery life though. We'll see. -
but if u look at carefully at their physical dimensions, u will see M70 is a lot thicker. and the weight is not the same!!!! batterylife for M70 is upto 3hr, while M40 is only upto 2.7hr.... which i highly doubt about it.
-
Do laptops have a battery life standard like digital cameras do? I'm referring to the CIPA standard which gives a standard bar for judging the battery life of cameras.
-
omg......what's the different? I can only see it now uses DDR2 ram. Fsater hardisk? my m40 is 5400 already
-
i think that's because u r in US. here in Canada we didnt have those for M40s......
M70 is almost 1cm thicker, 1 pound heavier!
Satellite new model!!!
