    well I was quietly doing some net surfing and then this slight audioable clicking sound seems to happen by it self 15min intervals its distinguishable enough to say its not the hardrive and I have head phone plugged in so it cant be the speakers? anyone els ever experienced this before?

    If so you've gotz teh spyware. lol @ quietly net surfing.

    but my head phones are plugged in, I I muted the laptop , could the finger print reader be tuning off on?

    Oh then I don't know what that is. Could be something related to the hardware or you could be hearing interference from the components inside the computer. A few Dells have this problem, except they are more related to beeps than clicks.
