    Hi everyone,
I just ordered a Satellite x205-Sli4 and it's on its way. I just wanted to know what current graphics driver from LV2Go is the best for this notebook, and allows overclocking too. Any input (especially from x205-Sli) owners would be great.

    Thanks,
    -J.B.

This link is for the latest and greatest....
I havent had a chance to try that one yet as i am about to go back to XP on my Sli1 but I have seen a definite improvment on my 3dMark06 score for every driver above the 169.09 so i am assuming you will be happy with the 169.61.... you should post a 3dMark06 score when you get your Sli34 Im curious to see how much better it is than my Sli1!!!

Thanks abehanna! When my Sli4 arrives at my doorstep in a few days I will bench it with the stock Toshiba drivers and then with these. I will post my 3DMark06 individual scores and stuff so that you can see how my 2.1GHz Penryn compares to your Sli1's processor. Everything else is basically the same as the Sli1 except the processor, 3GB ram, and the 2 7200RPM HDDs.

yeah, enjoy your new system.... should be a good performer.... I've been very happy with mine. I haven't really had a bad driver experience yet with the newer releases, all have been decent and much better than the stock version. Just make sure you remove all the old files with a cleaner program of some sort and you should be good to go

be77solo - I see you got a Eee 4g, I just got an OQO Model 02 UMPC so when I am on the road I have a full blown pc, without having to carry a laptop with me all the time, so far I very happy with the OQO but I will still take one of my laptops with me some of the time.

Yeah, broke down and finally bought one... I actually got to looking at them for my father, he's an airline pilot and needs something that's easy to carry around, and he's always come to me with computer questions, and the Eee's looked like something that was just like he was looking for... and then it showed up here and I was installing XP on it, and just really liked it... so, now gotta order him another one, as I don't want to let this one go HA!!!

Nice little machine, it's basicly just a shrunken laptop, nice responsive touchpad, plenty fast for XP and office and any normal tasks, and have even been testing some games on it with suprising success.... It amazes me that I was building PC's a few years ago that I had to worry about crazy cooling and was paying twice for the CPU's as to what I paid for this whole machine, only to have it out perform them.... Progress is amazing sometimes... and i guess a bit of times flies thrown in ;-)

I just got my x205-Sli4 a few hours ago and so far i love it. I have been playing music on it and stuff like the whole time. I want to upgrade to the 169.61 LV2G driver and mod it with the Toshiba file to retain HD-DVD but I don't know where the NVIDIA folder is  its not directly on the C drive. Help please?

you can download any software that comes with the system from toshiba. But changing the graphics driver will not cause you any problems with the software. I use nero and windows media player they work fine for me.
