hi mates. thanks for reading this. i have a toshiba a215-s4757. i can't seem to find anything on the desktop or the start menu that allows me to create a recovery discs.

when i check the hard drive space, it says i have 231 gb though i have 250 gb so i assume there is a recovery partition somewhere.

how do i access this? i want to either create recovery discs and reformat back to original shipping.

    thank you.

Check with tools like: Partition Magic..they will show you hidden partitions, if there are any.

All of the HDD manufacturers exaggerate on how much HDD space there really is, so your 231GB is your 250GB, no space hidden anywhere, like mine, it says my HDD is 120GB, but it actually has 110GB.

Mine came with 2 DVD's for recovery, like what blondie56 said. Yours should have them too.
