    Hi all,

New the forums and I have learned so much from you all thank you!

I was at Bust Buy today and they had one left (X205-S7483) I asked how much and the sales rep said he wasn't sure. I waited for 20 min and he finally came back and said "Its and open box but not an open box" I said huh? What do you mean? He said they opened it to show someone and they lost the restore cd somehow so I could have it as an open box and they would discount it. When I asked how much again he didn't know and had to ask the manager. So I waited another 20 min and the sales rep came back and said "the store manager is at lunch but The floor mamanger said you can have it for 900.00 because its not in the system and they couldn't price it from there" Needless to say I bought it on the spot. :D

    Merry Xmas to me!

Back up the OEM activation certificate and then you can use a Vista ANytime Upgrade CD to reinstall the OS - Just download the drivers from the Toshiba Website.

And congrats on the great deal!

yeah, that's an awesome deal, enjoy the machine! It's a great bang for the buck at $1400, much less $900 HA! Good job! I had one for a couple weeks, and it played everything I tried fine.

Dude, Ironically enough I got the same deal. The only one they had left was the one on the floor, and they let me buy that one at a cheaper price. But what did you do about the restore disk, because I didn't get one either. And right now I cant even get on because I dont know the password best buy used
