Does anyone know the rating of the screen brightness for the Qosmio? specifically the 1080p display. Thanks. How do toshiba screens compare with HP's ultra brightview from the dv8t?

I couldn't tell you about "NITS" or anything like that. I can tell you I keep the brightness around 3/4. I use it indoors, in a well lighted room with "natural light" full spectrum type of bulbs. This combo leaves me with less eyestrain after staring at the screen 10 hours a day (or more).

Not sure if that helps. Not a very good comparison to the dv8t.
