Yes yes!!! I've a Toshiba Satellite P200, about one year old. Suddenly and without warning, I noticed while running on battery mode, the screen would flicker a bit every now and then. It did not while plugged in.

I'm using the past tense, because as quickly as it came it seems to have stopped. Any idea as to what I might be in for, i.e. a laptop that might burst into a ball of flames!!!

I'm using Vista Home Premium Service Pak 1. I'll appreciate some insight into this. Thanks.

Thanks Shinyfalcon for your reply. I've no video card, but rather this laptop has a Mobil Intel(R) 945 Express Chipset. Hopefully this will help you to assess the situation.

Yes indeed Johnny. I was near one third awake when I posted the first time and then couldn't find it. After a bit, and nearing one half awake, I attempted to post the second time. Nearing two thirds awake, I assume I did actually put two postings up on the forum. Now coming close to full awake, I apologize for my stupidity.

Have I asked something that is really that difficult? My snag (or what used to be) does seem perplexing, but why am I thinking there's someone on here that knows exactly what the problem is. Please say on or for ever hold ones' peace.
