    I have Toshiba P205D-7479.

In the bios it has room for two hard drives, and in the bottom of the laptop it has room for two hard drives. The second bay doesn't have a direct connection for SATA though. There is a small wire with a rectangular pin input. I have pictures posted, so I'm wondering if there is an adapter or something I need to hook up a 2nd drive.

    Jazzy,

the board that you took out is the modem board... The motherboard needs to have second connector on it for you to attach the second drive.. Remember, on a laptop SATA connector, it has both power and Date headers.. You are pretty much out of luck with the 2nd internal drive.. I am pretty sure it is model sepecific, if you had 2 drives to start of with, you were ok.
