    Hi
I own a P305D-S8995E (PSPDOU-OODOOF) Toshiba laptop and want to install a second hard drive. Called Toshiba Support they directed me to their Accessory department they in turn told me if I install the hard drive myself I void my warranty and directed me to their spare parts warehouse, after over 2 hours on the phone (altogether) they said the caddy had been discontinued. I have been searching the net for this part but have had no luck at all.
Any help finding 1 would be greatly appreiated
    Thanks in advance

Check the connectors on the back and measure it (9.5mm/12.7mm). A lot of optical drives are JAE50, SATA or Lenovo's Ultrabay connector. Some manufacturers tack on an extra detachable bit on the optical to allow hotswapping. If so, could be removed and put on an aftermarket 2nd drive caddy. Consider the newmodeus.com table to see if they have something that might do the job.
