OK, got my video card (169) working, my network cards working (realtek and Intel), even found the chipset inf on the Intel site.
Now if I can just get my audio card working. I've downloaded about 8 drivers from Realtek and Toshiba, both listed for XP and vista, but I can't get any audio. Anybody know which drivers might work????
Thanks!

it isn't working for me. I found a Microsoft KB888111 that explains a problem with XP recognizing the HD Audio equipment on my machine.

I know my machine is not a Dell, but the audio card in the Device manager matches the ID in these peoples problem. I installed SP3 trying to get ahead, but the "fix" doesn't work with sp3. Will go back to SP3 and try again -
OK, finally got it working. You must install the KB88811 update (I slipstreamed it, along with the SATA drivers, into an XP Pro install disc), then install the video drivers, the biometrics driver, etc. The KB8881111 turns the "unknown PCI device" into recognizable modem and audio drivers.
For some reason, you then need to install the modem drivers first, then the audio drivers. If someone wants to try it, I can point you the right way.

I am having this same problem, and I can't get it to work.
Could you please post a more detailed explanation of how you got it to work? -

You need to install SATA drivers to install XP, either via floppy or slipstreaming. Then, you have to install the KB888111 hotfix, again after install, or more easily via slipstreaming.
Personally, I slipstreamed the SATA drivers, KB888111, chipset, network, and wireless drivers into an XP Pro disc. This got everything up and running, then I installed the firewire, card reader, video, modem, sound drivers etc at this point.
again, the X205's come with an HD Audio bus, which Windows XP doesn't recognize without the KB888111 hotfix from Microsoft.
I have all of the drivers bundled into a Zip file, just PM me if you want a link. I don't remember where I got all of the drivers from, so I can't give individual links. -
Hi, I just picked up X205-SLI3 and I just installed XP Pro SP3 and having problems trying to load HD Audio Drivers. Any chance I could get that zip file with all the XP drivers on it? It sure would make my life a lot easier.
Thanks
