    Slow T5500

    I have a toshiba a100 with T5500 core 2 duo (1.67ghz) but the super pi benchmark to 2M takes more than 2 minutes....!!??! That's almost as if it's a single core running at 1.67ghz.... :(
    Any idea everybody?

    check device manager to make sure you have two cores running, you might need a bios update or a bios reset

    Look in the Power Properties and make sure that you have Performance on Demand or Max Performance enabled. It looks as if your CPU is ambling along at its minimum speed of 1GHz.
