    Hello guys!

I bought a new Toshiba Satellite laptop, I only have a small problem.

While I am using Microsoft Word 2007, whenever I type anything, the cursor jumps to the top of the page, its very annoying, I cant type 4 or 5 words, it keeps jumping to the top.

How can we solve this problem?

    Thanks

Might want to try this thread.

    Possible solutions look like:
    --Turning down the scroll sensitivity
--Downloading and installing "TouchFreeze" software [disables touchpad when typing, enables touchpad automatically when not typing, seems to fix problem for many people].

Good luck and keep us updated with progress.

We have had this problem in the office with Word 2003 as well ... it our case it was a side effect of the "snap to" option in the control panel's mouse settings and was fixed by a MS update - don't remember which one though. (The owner of the machine INSISTED on using the snap to setting....)

By all means try the solutions above too, though!
