This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Software will not complete loading

    I lost all programs, i am using the A45 S150 Satelllite. I reinstalled my system with the recovery CD that came with the laptop. i had a the Acad program before, i am trying to install the same Autocad program, the install goes as far as copying files down to "0" seconds left and hangs up, it comes to a copmlete stop and will not continue, I also am having the same problem with Coreldraw 7. On the plus side i am able to load office 2007 ok. I have not been able to locate the problem.
    Has anyone else had this happen? If so please advice. these same programs loaded fine before the rebuild using the same O Sys. they also load ok on my desk top.
