i read the centrino guide on the homepage of this site and i was wondering if my laptop had the sonoma or the dothan. i have a toshiba m60. i think i have the sonoma but i have a 915 chipset and it ends in a 5 which means its a dothan?? but then the 915 is called the alviso which is associated with the sonoma...im confused.

915 refers to the Sonoma chipset. What you most likely heard is referring to the processor numbering. If you have a 7x5 processor, then it is a "Dothan" processor, while if you have a 7x0 processor, it is a "Sonoma" processor. Keep in mind that "Dothan" processors can be used with the Sonoma chipset. Examples of this include the HP dv1000.
