    I was watching hulu on my computer today with the volume no higher than like.. 15. And the battery died on my laptop. I had hulu on full screen so I didn't notice. I boot the computer back up after plugging it in and the sound no longer works. It works when I have headphones in.. but not when they're unplugged. It worked before the battery died. HELP. D: I r scared.

    Obvious answer. The speakers broke! I have no idea what I did! But they're telling me to take it to the service place in shelton..

    If you right click on audio icon in notification area is speakers enabled in playback devices?

    Yes they were enabled. IT was the physical speakers themselves having a fit.
    Luckily I turned on the computer and I heard the log-in sound. I was like .....YAY!!!! Never thought I'd be happy to hear the vista log in chime thing.
