I live in canada so I don't know if this problem with everyone. I returned my SK9 3 times already because when ever I have the volume around max the right speaker would rattle with certain songs but most annoyingly some of the windows sound effects. I've tried contacting tech support and I've been shifted to customer relations but I've had trouble contacting them too. This problem however also happens on other models in the same series, i tried them all in the futureshop and best buys. So would this just be consider poor build quality and not a defect? because I really like the SK9 but I'm going to return it for money back because nothing seems to be helping. Has anyone else been having this problem too?

Speakers on laptops are generally not nice to listen to. Even a cheap pair of external speakers definitly outdoes the SK9's harmon/kardon "high definition" speakers. I've got one myself, and when I plug in a sub $50 CND (canadian) pair of speakers, the sound definitly sounds A LOT better. Just invest in a cheap pair of speakers if you're planning to game, watch movies, or listen to music at home.

I understand that in general laptop speakers arent the best, but buying one out of the box and having the speaker rattle is not acceptable. I could understand if i was using equalizers increasing the bass and stuff, but also the fact that this is only happening out of one speaker and not both I would see this more as a defect.
