The space bar is now very sticky
I am unsure of how to remove it.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Turn your laptop off quickly, remove battery, use hair dryer to dry your laptop off...wait a few days before turning it on...then remove the whole keyboard according to your manual...then clean your keys with a swab with water...

Thanks for the reply, the problem is that the manual does not mention how to remove the keyboard
I was able to remove the right side of the space bar key, but the left side I am unable to, I think it uses a different sort of mechanism -
Follow up:
figured out how to pop the keys off myself, went at the keys mechanism and the back of the key with aftershave + Q-Tip + blow dryer, and cleaned the back of the keys off as well.
It seems to have done the job, although there is some slight stickiness still, I'll give it another go maybe tomorrow

What!? Dont Ever Hairdry Electronics!!!!!!

And I didn't think the aftershave was the best idea, either.

Yeah, I had to work with what I had -- why is hair drying a bad idea? The heat? I figured it wouldn't melt or anything, it wasn't on too hot of a setting
Spilled coke on my Toshiba Satellite P200, under the space bar
