    Static Problem/How serious is it?

    Hey everyone, just bought my A70 two days ago, It just shutted down for nothing like some minutes ago, could this be the static problem?

    Computer suddenly shutted down.

    You may want to test the unit a bit more. There could be other issues causing the systek shutdown (over heating). What happens if the unit is left sitting there with some tests running in the backround like plpaying a video or music (with power management disabled and don't touch the unit while running, does it power off after a while? If not, then it could be the static issue. If it does, it's could be the heat issue.

    Send the unit in for service. The static issue is a known problem with Toshiba and just requires a top cover replacement to fix the issue (if this is the issue). The cooling unit should be replaced if it's a heat problem.
