Just thought I share a great experience i had with my standard Toshiba Warranty...

Last week I spilled a whole glass of wine on my keyboard (thanks to my new beagle puppy  ) and i think i fried either the mainboard or the GPUs  . I called Toshiba and they referred me to a tech center near where i live. I dropped my computer off last friday and i just received a call today (4 days later) that it is ready to go. They replaced the mainboard and GPU's no questions asked and eveything was covered by the warranty. I just wanted to share this good story after all the bad things i have heard about Toshiba service. Also i would highly recommend that people try to find a tech center that is contracted out rather than sending your computer back to Toshiba I suspect that it is one of the main reasons why I got such quick service and no hassles with the warranty.

Awesome! It is nice to hear something good about Toshiba for once. ;)

I wonder if maybe the reason why contracters do a faster job is because they won't get paid (from Toshiba) until the job is done. Whereas Toshiba service people are in no rush to spend their companies money!

Was the booze spill really the dog though?
