I have a Toshiba satellite that I recently received back from repairs in which hinges, bezel, and top cover were replaced. I've been messing with it for a week and the thing honestly give me a headache to use at all. I don't know if it's just my eyes or if the screen is just that bright and washed out. I've been using my OLD hp pavilion in the mean time and after comparing them side by side I really think there must be something freaking out on the toshiba. Advise PLEASE!!!

Try running screen calibrate (there is a slider that adjust the screen contrast), press start bottom left, type calibrate in run box, click on calibrate, also accessible via control panel.

The setting is called Adjust Gama, see link below.

If it does not work, create a restore point, then download the video driver for your notebook, then uninstall your display driver reboot and then install the display driver.

    Hi,

It must be the technology of the panel that is the issue here. TN panels typically have washed out colours. They sacrifice that for a better response time.
I am also facing the same issue & for now, I just manually adjusted the Colour Settings from Intel Graphics Options to get close to how it was before & comfortable.

For now, just download this custom profile I have made & apply it. It should help for the time being.

Are you looking at it at a 90 degree angle or off angle?
