HI, I BOOT WITH THE recovery disks on a screwed up system, that needs reinstalling, and just after it loads the ramdisk image it reboots again and agin. 1 time installing latest chipset drivers from win xp fixed it, but i can only access safe mode.

has latest bios, would rather just install vista but how would could i considering i need the current setup upgraded.. is vista a ramdisk? would it correct this situation with upgrade?

it currently has fully licenced winxp from new key installed (not original or key on fix attempt) but i cant activate as no net connection and need/want original setup.

hoping there are very knowledgable people here able to think this through i cant afford repair.. business situation is very tight.

You don't need a net correction to activate it all you have to do is choose the activate by phone method when the activation wizzard appears that gives you the number to call and just follow the instructions you are given.
