    Hi All,

I’m experimenting problems when using some secure suits with my M115.
After a few uses of fn key (change power profile fun + f2, suspend and hibernate), especially with more than one user logged on, I notice an excessive cooling activity. Then I look in task manager and the CPU is using 50%, with means a program not responding. The program was thotkey.exe.

This was strange, because never happened before and started happens constantly. After think witch changed to start this behavior I remember the switch of the security suit from McAfee to NIS 2007 trial. After remove NIS 2007 the problem goes away completely. Then I tried Microsoft’s OneCare and no problem. Yesterday I give a try to OneCare 1.5 Beta (Windows XP) and the same behavior that occurs with NIS happened: Thotkey.exe problems.

I tried uninstall/install thotkey, restore the system, but I was unable to make NIS work fine in conjunction with thotkey. And I got a spare license to NIS 2007. I don’t like the idea of purchase OneCare 1.0, since 1.5 beta is causing the same problem with thotkey, since soon or late 1.5 will become final version and I will have problems. McAfee works fine, but I can’t use email scan with some secure accounts that use non standard port (like gmail or my office).
Anybody is experimenting problems like these one? I’m the only M115 (or Toshiba) user suffering with thotkey?

    Regards!
