    fan on this laptop is so annoying. i just bought it used and it is on constantly and it is loud. annyone knows how to safely solve this and if it's possible. thanks guys

    The M35x is quite a old machine(pentium M) so its possible that the vents are clogged with dust(thus making the system heat up and causing the fans to constantly spin).

    Clean the vents of dust and look at the cooling guide. You also want to monitor your temperatures.
