    Guys,

I'm trying to create the initial system recovery DVDs on a Toshiba laptop.

According to the manual, "Toshiba Recovery Media Creator" needs to be used. Unfortunately I can't find such utility installed on the system!??

I also cannot find it anywhere on the internet to download !??

    Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance!

Sometimes the shortcut isn't displayed under "programs".

If you laptop has "Toshiba Bulletin Board" [the red thumbtack program]; go into that and make sure it's on the "board" tab. Then you'll see "Recovery Media Creator".

    Good luck

I think it's just a generic Toshiba program that allows the user to have "one-click" access to pre-installed software, as well as get Toshiba support, updates, laptop information, and Windows 7 help/guides.

So pretty much a "All-in-one" kinda thing. I never use it unless I need one of the above.
