I'm thinking of getting the Tecra A10. Just wondering if there are any major complaints about this laptop. Is there a "owner's lounge" for this laptop?

There is no Owners Lounge for the A10.

How much are you getting it for?

Base price is 1000-1100 but I will probably get a processor upgrade, and a 1680x050 display upgrade, so figure another couple hundred. Oh, and an extended-life battery.

    I had a Terca P4, now I have a tecra M9 and A9.

    Great notebooks.

You might have a problem with the intel 5100 wifi card in your A10.
It would be better to swap it for a 5300.

Also I don't know how bright the screen is for the A10. You should check it out before you buy.

All three of my tecra notebooks have screens which are not bright at all.
