I have a Tecra 8000 PII 266. The recommended RAM speed is PC66. Has anyone upgraded their RAM to PC100?

    Thanks

There shouldn't be any problems with using PC100 memory in a system that normally uses PC66 memory. Just make sure the memory type/brand is compatible in your notebook. I know some of the older notebooks required specific memory to work. I tried standard PC100 memory in an old Toshiba notebook I had, but it didn't work, I had to use specific PC100 memory for it to be compatible.
