    I have a hold of a Tecra 8100. I think it is years old but it is brand new and never used. I'd like to get it running but can't. I have it plugged in to mains power and I think the battery is recharged. The indicator lights come on and it makes a few soft noises but the monitor stays off or blank. I put in the first of the 2 recovery CDs but that did nothing. I actually have a use for it and would love to get it running. I have no computers skills except trial and error. Any help would be appreciated.
