I'm serious looking to buy a Tecra A11-S3540. I'd appreciate comments about two things, if you will.

    1. California Computer (vendor) - your experience with them or anything you've heard of them.
    2. The notebook itself. - your experience with it on any level.

My very first notebook was a Toshiba Satellite back in 1997. I was impressed with the solid build. This is especially true when i actually dropped the thing and watch it bounce and chip a corner of the lid. It never missed a beat. My only complaint was the joy button in the center for moving the mouse pointer resulted in a tiny worn spot on the screen. They don't out those buttons there anymore.
