I am considering a Tecra for a new purchase, but unfortunately in my town, none of the dealers sell or display any business class NBs. While looking through the Toshiba website, I spotted the A6, which has a chassis very similar to the the to the Satellites I see at the local stores. Not being to put my hands on one, I am not sure if it has the same build quality as other Tecras.

Is there any fundamental difference between the A6 and other models in the Satellite line?

of what i am aware of is that sattelites have only 1-2 years warranty while tecra's have 3 years as standard. AT least here in denmark.

Whoops in US toshiba gives only 1 year warranty. Anyway i would think that it have better build quality because they cost also more without giving extra functions.
