One of my friends is a IT for a school ... he showed me the other day his purchase and set up of about 2dozen new M2's.
I would like to "think" that ... my purchase and critique influenced his buy LoL
He owns a lot of Sonys ... but, has always liked Toshibas
Well, anyway ... once he has these M2's in place and running with all these different students on them ... it will be interesting how they hold up ... and his thought's on the M2 over time.
fyi: His set up is at FULL POWER plugged in.
*** In fact if anyone has TIPS on how to Run at FULL POWER better ... when plugged in ... please post.
Since he has it plugged in ... best to tweek to get MAX performance.
    * note: pls. no tweeks that might compromise reliability.

Will try to keep you all posted.
    * for me ... I LOVE mine. and I own every battary combo there is for the M2 ... so, run time is never a issue for me with the M2

it definitely would be interesting to know if there's a failure rate out of the 24 notebooks he purchased. If they all provide no problems within six months then that's a good sign for sure. Let us know how this "experiment" goes and hopefully your influence in getting the M2s turns out to be a good thing!

Seems like the m2 and t41/t42 are a toss up as far as perfect laptop goes. We might have to add the Acer 2012 to the list if they can put it on a diet - 6.5 lbs is too fat.

and many people seem to think the Fujitsu S7010D is up there with the M2 and T41/42s...
