The new units no longer use the older techniques to remove passwords. The new method is only available to Authourized Toshiba Repair Centers. The easiest way to remove the password is to take it to an Authorized Toshiba Repair Center and they'll be able to remove the password. You just need to provide proof of purchase of the unit (so they know it's yours) and it's not covered under warranty.

Oh, when I say Authorized Toshiba Repair Center, I don't mean directly to Toshiba. Toshiba authorizes companies to perform repairs on their behalf. You should be able to find a shop in your city. All you need to do is drop it off and possibly even be able to have them remove it in the same visit.
