I've been looking at the Dell 8600 and HP zt3000. I recently started researching Toshiba. I spec'd out the M2 series similar to the two mentioned above and the pricing is excellent. Here are the specs:

    Tecra M2V
    6 Cell Battery, Intel® PRO/Wireless (802.11g), Intel® Pentium® M Processor 725 (1.60GHz, 2MB L2 Cache, 400MHz FSB), 60GB HDD (5400rpm), 14" XGA Display (1024 x 768), 512MB PC2700 DDR333 SDRAM (512MBx1), Microsoft® Windows® XP Professional, DVD/CD-RW, Standard 3 Years Warranty (about $1500)

I like the fact that it is lighter and has a smaller display--seems more portable. Anyone had issues with overheating? Sticky/uncomfortable/flimsy keyboard? Display issues? Warranty/service issues?

Any thoughts, experiences, comments??? I really am hoping to buy asap. THANK YOU X 10
