I have an sound issue that just started. I can hear the windows startup music play, but by the time my system loads the sound no longer works. When I go into the Sound Properties under Control Panel everything is greyed out and it says No Audio Device. All looks fine under Device manager - I have uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers. I have uninstalled every piece of software I can think of that might be causing the issue, but still no sound after the system is up. Any help with figureing out what is stepping on my sound would be great. I am at my ends.

    Running Windows XP SP2
