So does anyone have one of these yet? I'm looking at the configurable model and it looks quite nice. Ivy Bridge and a 1600x900 screen in a "light business" notebook for $730? Not bad. It even has the option for Radeon HD 7570M dedicated graphics for an additional $100. But the real questions are not answered. How is the screen, the build quality and so on? I'm not seeing any reviews online yet, but I suppose most of the questions could be answered by the R840 but it didn't seem to have as powerful GPU option or the 1600x900 screen available.

Here is a user review/impression of the r840 tecra with 1600x900 screen. The r940 should be 90% the same as the r840 [with exception to the newer CPU and GPU components].

One key aspect that differs the Tecra from the portege [13" sister model to the tecra] is that the Portege has magnesium alloy chassis, Tecra has carbon-fiber mesh chassis. Supposedly the carbon-fiber body is supposed to be a lot stronger than the portege's Magnesium-alloy body; as the Tecra is marketed as Toshiba's business class laptop.

    Good luck

Ah, thanks for that link. Many impressive comments regarding its build quality, the screen sounds disappointing but then again he says its better than what else he saw around. That's both good and bad.
